Support Us

Want to help Samasource? Here are a few ways you can join us:

1. Join our cause or become a fan of Samasource on Facebook, and check out videos from our pilot in Kenya on YouTube.

2. Volunteer. We’re looking for regional board members, unpaid salespeople, accountants, partner recruitment specialists, and grant writers.

3. Give us work. Have a website you’ve been meaning to create? A bunch of notes you’d like to have transcribed? The best way to support what we do is to give our providers paid assignments. Click here to post a project.

4. Donate. Samasource is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all eligible contributions are tax-exempt. We use donor funds to search for new vendors, pay our website developers, and increase our sales efforts. Here’s how to send us funds:

Via credit card: Make a contribution via Network For Good.

Via check: send us a check made out to “Samasource.” Make sure to supply a return address so we can thank you properly. Here’s our address:

Samasource
972 Mission Street, 5th Floor
San Francisco, CA 94103

EIN for tax reporting purposes: 26-254-7062

5. Give in-kind. This may also be tax-deductible, depending on the donation. Send expressions of interest to donate@samasource.org. Here’s our wish list:

  • Mac mini (2)
  • iWork software (2)
  • Adobe Photoshop (2
  • Desktop PC (2)
  • Skype headset (4)
  • Airline miles (as many as possible on international carriers)
  • Low-cost or free printing for marketing collateral and business cards
  • Low-cost or free advertising

6. Help us raise awareness. Here are some ideas to raise awareness and funding for Samasource:

  • Lead a local Samasource chapter at your university, company, or in your region
  • Host a fundraiser in your city, featuring Samasource videos or case studies
  • Contact your local news agency to feature Samasource
  • Challenge a group of friends to volunteer to support Samasource’s sales and training efforts

Send an email to volunteer@samasource.org to learn more about any of the opportunities above. Thanks for your interest in our work.
