Samasource has partnered with oDesk, one of the world’s leading online marketplaces for outsourced IT and business process talent, to develop a “responsible outsourcing” awareness campaign targeting over 100,000 buyers and service providers. The campaign will help oDesk users learn about sustainable business practices and the social impact of outsourcing in low-income regions, as well as indicate their support for the cause.
This news follows oDesk’s $15M Series C funding round, announced yesterday. Stay tuned as we post further details on the campaign in the coming months.

Is it possible to have the campaign done majorly in developing countries so that they can be enlightened on how to use ICT in economic development, especially throuhg outsourcing, create awareness on sustainable business practices for the citizens in those countries?
